Message from HIOSA President

 

Dear members of HIOSA and fellow alumni members,

 

It is with great pleasure that I write this message to introduce the 36th HIOSA Committee to you. I am confident that these 2 years (2015 - 2016) will be a very exciting time ahead.

 

Succession has been a key challenge of HIOSA for many years.  In this new committee, we are blessed with a few younger alumni who volunteer their time and effort to serve in the executive committee (exco).  With this varied perspective of younger and older alumni as well as our shared interest in growing our Alumni, we strongly believe that our initiatives will be well balanced and are able to cater to the diverse interests of our alumni.

 

Our main focus for this year will be:

• To increase the membership of HIOSA;

• To actively engage alumni of HIHS & HIPS through our activities, newsletter, website and social media platforms;

• To continue to build strong tie and working relationship with HIHS and HIPS; and

• To raise funds for Ren De Foundations.

 

In the meantime, we would like to invite all of you to help make HIOSA a more vibrant network for the HI alumni.  You can help make our alumni network more dynamic through activities such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Volunteer to give talks or hold workshop to share skills or life experiences with other members;

• Contribute articles or blog to our website or newsletter;

• Engage other alumni through our Facebook or other platforms that will be made available;

• Write to us to offer suggestions on how we can do better; and

• Actively participate in activities that we organize.

 

Together, let’s make the alumni network of Holy Innocents’ family of schools a dynamic and vibrant community.
